How to Use Elleemix Powder:

✨ For Korean/Glueless Lash Lift Techniques:

Step 1 - Mix 30–50% Elleemix Powder with your lash lift lotion, adjusting the ratio depending on the thickness and resistance of the lashes. Blend until a smooth, paste-like consistency is achieved.

Apply a layer of the mixed lotion to the base of the shield, then begin wrapping the lashes onto the shield using a brush or long-tipped microbrush. As you continue wrapping, ensure an additional layer of the mixed lotion is applied over the lashes. This provides thorough coverage and ensures optimal adhesion of the lashes to the shield. Cover the lashes with cling film to help keep them in place.

Step 2 – For the setting lotion, a smaller ratio of Elleemix Powder can be used, as the lashes are already malleable and adhere more easily to the shield. In some cases, very little powder may be needed. Ensure the lashes remain well-wrapped and evenly coated with the mixed setting lotion during this step. The use of Lift Lockers is recommended to keep the lashes securely in place throughout the setting process.

In some cases, a 50/50 ratio is suitable for more resistant or coarser lashes.

To adjust viscosity and prevent runoff, add approximately 20–30% Elleemix Powder to your lash lift lotion. Mix until the product reaches a creamy, easy-to-place consistency that stays in position during processing.

How are these different than the original Elleebana rods?

The physical silicone product is softer, more moldable and more flexible. Supple silicone material is ultra-soft, comfortable and form-fitting for many different type of eye shapes.  There is no need to use adhesive on the back of the rod to hold the rod into place.

What Are Flex Hybrid Shields?

These shields are made of soft, Flex silicone but are designed with a hybrid, asymmetrical shape. The beauty of this shield’s shape is that the inner corner is lower than the outer section of the shield. This is a great choice for clients whose lashes are shorter at the inner corners and outer corners are longer. A distinctive combination of a round rod at the base of the shield giving an outward curvature from the lash line but with the body of the shield extending directly upward instead of curling back into the traditional C curl that a rod gives, these hybrids offer the best of both worlds for lash shape creation.  The straight upward design gives the length to the lashes and prevents over curling (not over processing, two very different lash lift factors).  It’s thanks to this unique hybrid curvature and shape that salons will be looking to add the Elleebana Flex Hybrid Shields to their treatments in a rush.

🫧 Cleaning methods: To maintain the longevity of your Flex Hybrid Shields, follow the same cleaning process as with your Flex Rods or Flex Shields. Silicone can stain when exposed to tint, so it’s essential to rinse the shields immediately after tinting to minimize discoloration.

 1. During lash services, use the Elleebana Lash Bath method to rinse the tint and adhesive from the shields.

2. Clean them with an antibacterial solution and warm water to remove adhesives, balms, and lotions.

3. Sanitize with High-Level Disinfectant (HLD), followed by an alcohol swab or antibacterial spray.

4. Rinse again with water and use an autoclave for sterilization—just avoid soaking them for prolonged periods.

Blend the ease and gentle nature of a balm with the hold of an adhesive.

ELLEEBALM product has a white, easy to spread, creamy consistency that dries transparent.  When applying it to your rod or shield, our preferred method is to dispense a small amount and apply it with a brush to the rod/shield before beginning the wrap phase of the service.  During the wrap phase, we recommend soaking your bush again in the product, getting more balm on your brush, and then starting to wrap up the lashes.
